Francesco Di Nardo is Staff Scientist at Movement Analysis Lab, Università Politecnica delle Marche, Ancona, Italy. His main research activity includes the areas of biomedical signal processing (filtering, feature extraction, pattern recognition, time-frequency analysis, application of neural networks to bio-signals) and interpretation (physiology, clinics, sport). Particular involvement is in acquisition and processing of surface electromyography (EMG) signal to assess the muscular function during gait task.
Cristiano De Marchis is an assistant professor at the laboratory of Bioengineering Biolab3, at the Department of Engineering of University Roma Tre. He is involved in research activities for the neuromechanical analysis of human movement, the development of algorithms and solutions in the field of neuro-rehabilitation and biomedical signal processing.
Valentina Agostini is Associate Professor in Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Torino, Italy. She is member of the Motion Analysis Laboratory at PolitoBIOMed Lab and coordinator of the research activities related to the study of muscle synergies in human locomotion and postural balance. She has experience in wearable sensors, clinical gait analysis and in the advanced processing of surface EMG signals.
